  • When dealing with topic that involve a specific group of people (visually/deaf people), you need to get those people in data collection, or the research is invalid.

  • Accessibility in Mobile App Interfaces for Visually Impaired Users (UI/UX for Visually Impaired Users) – Can research more on the technical side 
  • How User Familiarity with a platform's UI affects their tolerance for change. - Ok topic 


Week 4

  • Research topic should not be a question
  • For research questions, no leading questions, neutral questions only. And at most 3 questions

Specific:

  • Match the Research objectives and questions, and make sure they relate to each other.

  • Use Third Party Tone than First party Tone when writing

  • Check the APA writing format booklet to correctly write references.

  • Try to collect data from recent years. (past 5 years). Your article are too old (2015 article)

  •  Research Gate is an online researcher platform, it is not the source of the original article. You need to go and find out the reference source of the article.

  • Don’t start a paragraph with ‘However’, ‘Additionally’, ‘But’, ‘Nevertheless’ conjunctions.

  • Full stop goes after the in-text citation, and no Italic in in-text citation.

  • The answer options in the survey repeat individual hour values, which can confuse respondents. Revise them into clear, non-overlapping ranges like “2–3 hours” or “4–6 hours” for better clarity.
  • Specific:

    General: 

    • (Copy and Paste the Chart from Google Form, title in Question form, and no details of no. and total of respondents.) This is wrong
    • Use labels that write about the items with percentage and no.of participants. No need for repeatable chart labels inside the chart colour and also extended arrows. Choose one to describe the labels.

    Specific:

    • Report honestly in your findings, even if valid responses doesn’t reach 100. 


    Week 12

    General: 

    • Relate your findings with Research Questions, supported by any existing literature. If your findings are a new discovery, describe how your findings are different from the existing literature. Write your own analysis.

    • Prepare presentation designs and video for submission.

    • Convert the chart to a percentage chart
    • Label the x and y axis
    • Show both percentage and number in the chart
